Nike recently celebrated its two-decade partnership with marathon star Eliud Kipchoge in a special way. They honored him by unveiling a track and a statue at two of their main offices. The track, called the Eliud Kipchoge Track, was revealed at Nike’s European headquarters in the Netherlands. At the same time, a statue was unveiled at their headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
Eliud Kipchoge, a talented Kenyan runner known for his marathon expertise, had a long-standing relationship with Nike. He has achieved remarkable feats, including winning Olympic marathon titles in 2016 and 2020. Notably, he set a world record in the marathon with a remarkable time of 2:01:09 at the 2022 Berlin Marathon.
