ZANDIE KHUMALO STANDS FIRM ON SENZO MEYIWA MURDER INVESTIGATION
South African singer Zandie Khumalo remains unwavering in her stance regarding the ongoing investigation into the murder of former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa. Over the years, Zandie and her sister Kelly Khumalo have been at the center of public attention, but Zandie continues to maintain her innocence with confidence.
Zandie Speaks Out Against Accusations
In a recent Instagram post, Zandie addressed allegations surrounding her involvement in Meyiwa’s tragic death. She boldly denied any wrongdoing and reaffirmed her testimony.
She responded to a question asking if she would apologise to South Africans should Kelly be found guilty, stating:
“Mina I’m not gonna apologise to South Africans for s**t. I never lied under oath. I gave my testimony to the best of my ability and recollection. Mina Zandile Lorraine Khumalo, I was never part of any planning or masterminding yokubulala u Senzo if there ever was something like that.”
Zandie’s Perspective on Kelly’s Involvement
Zandie firmly believes that her sister Kelly Khumalo had no role in orchestrating Meyiwa’s death. She has publicly defended Kelly, stating:
“I am 200% sure that Kelly had nothing to do with this. She is HIGHLY INCAPABLE of such.”
Zandie also directed suspicion towards Senzo’s ex-wife, Mandisa Meyiwa, urging investigators to examine her possible involvement. However, she clarified that her suspicions were not personal and pledged to apologise if Mandisa was publicly cleared.
“If my suspicions are proven wrong without any doubt, I will sincerely apologise to her because my suspicions are not personal. Should she be investigated and cleared publicly, not behind closed doors, I will then apologise to her. Until then, ngimile la.”

Zandie has expressed frustration with the rampant public speculation and the circulation of false narratives. Despite this, she remains focused on the pursuit of justice for Senzo Meyiwa, declaring:
“We want justice la asidlali.”
