Gambia’s most decorated female sprinter Gina Bass has set a new national record at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics while securing a spot in the 100M meters women.
She finished fourth in the Women’s 100M with an improving timing of 11:12 seconds, a new national record for The Gambia.

The Semi-finals for the women’s 100M is scheduled for the 31st July 2021, while she will also compete in the 200M women planned for 2nd August 2021.
