Kid Fan of celebrated Gambian artist ST Singhateh–received a 6 years scholarship package from the artist. This came after a surprise visit to the boy’s family following the viral video of the kid fan singing one of the artist’s songs.

The kid fan who goes by the name Hashim Bobo Jallow also received a school bag with learning material and an undisclosed amount of money from the artist as a “token of appreciation”.

During the artist meeting with Hashim and his family, ST expressed how he was impressed with the young boy’s performance stating that “he displayed an incredible sense of creativity, skill and enthusiasm”
He went further to add: “I believe if he is supported, he will go far in life. And I am happy to be part of that journey in any way I can”.
This gesture by ST Singhateh has welcomed many appreciations and positive comments from fans and Gambian music lovers on social media.
