DIABETICS CAN BE MANAGE! LISTEN UP!
If you live in Africa, a family member or friend might be diagnosed with diabetics. This situation leave most of us worried. According to IDF (International Diabetes Federation), 19 million people were reportedly living with diabetes in Africa. This figure is estimated to increase to 47 million by 2045. Diabetes is reported to be a major cause of blindness, kidney failure, heart attacks, stroke and lower limb amputation and affects overall health. It is also a major cause of death when it is not controlled or treated. Good news is, it can be managed but with early detection.
On the wellness Wednesday, Dr Jaye shared with us some of the symptoms of diabetic as well as proper management and treatment. According to her, diabetics symptoms includes Frequent urination, Extreh in vegetables (half plate), quarter plate or protein and carbohydrates.
