• Increased Investment: Public sector investment in critical infrastructure, including roads, rail, housing, energy, and water, continues to rise.
• Boost in Investor Confidence: Both local and international businesses are showing renewed interest in investing in South Africa, further bolstering the economy.

President Ramaphosa expressed confidence that these advancements would lead to more job opportunities, sustainable livelihoods, and stronger support for local businesses.

The GNU has also focused on social transformation, signing into law the National Health Insurance Act and the Basic Education Laws Amendment Act. These pivotal legislations aim to provide all South Africans with access to quality healthcare and education.

“These reforms ensure that every citizen has the opportunity to thrive,” Ramaphosa noted.

In his message, the President urged continued efforts to prevent gender-based violence, emphasizing the need for men and boys to lead the charge in reshaping societal attitudes.
