RIHANNA MADE IT TO FORBES’ LIST OF SELF-MADE RICHEST WOMEN IN AMERICA FOR THE FIRST TIME
The music icon and business mogul Rihanna has made her debut to Forbes list of self-made richest women in America, with a net worth of $600M. According to Forbes, the singer came number 33 on the list with her music and beauty line Fenty beauty with its partnership with LVMH contributing largely to her success. The estimated sales for Fenty beauty are over $600M in 2019. The singer has previously told the Time that she has “100% involvement” in the creation of the brand.
“I have 100 percent involvement in this process, which is what makes this so special and very fun. I have so much creative freedom from products to packaging, and that’s really the only way this brand will stay true to my vision for it, said Rihanna.”
Adding to her beauty line, Rihanna’s net worth also comes from her savage x Fenty, a lingerie brand she co owns with TechStyle fashion company. According to Forbes reports this brand has raised $50M from investors in 2019.
The 32-year-old is also one of the most charitable celebrities, she raised $22.5M for coronavirus relief through her Clara Lionel foundation, personally donating upwards of $8M to relief efforts. She also made number 61 of power women 2019 list and 60 on celebrity 100 2020 list.
