Constant migraine is not only disturbing, but also irritating. When you or a loved one is faced with migraine, it has a big impact on your life in many ways. Coming up unexpectedly and affecting your daily routine can be hard to deal with.
According to NHS UK, migraine which is a severe headache felt as a throbbing pain on one side of the head affects around 1 in every 5 women and 1 in every 15 men.

NHS further reveals the exact causes of migraine remain unknown although they’re thought to be the result of temporary changes in the chemicals, nerves and blood vessels in the brain.

On Wellness Wednesday, a new health series by The Sisters Show, Dr Jaye Ceesay takes us through quick and easy tips to deal with migraine at home.

CREATE A MIGRAINE DAIRY: The first tip she shared is to start a migraine dairy, this will help you to “identify the food that aggravate” your system.

SILENCE AND STRESS FREE PERIODS ARE ESSENTIAL: When migraine hits you hard, try going into a darker room to be stress free. Just move out from the noisy world a little and it will be rewarding.

COLD COMPRESSOR IS NOT LEFT OUT: Applying cold compressor or towel around your forehead will help you more than you can imagine.
Sleep! Sleep! sleep!It is very important and don’t forget to drink as much water as you can.
